After weeks of conversation, number crunching, sleepless nights, and a whole lot of honest reflection- we’ve reached the only decision that makes sense for our community: 

We are opening BOTH camps this summer!

Your response over the past month - the donations, the volunteer sign-ups, the messages saying “put me where you need me” made it impossible to come to any other conclusion. You showed up. And because of that, we believe we can meet the financial need. It’s not going to be easy, but it is absolutely possible.

But more importantly: the emotional and educational need is simply too great to ignore. As we can attest- Barton and Joslin don’t just offer a week of camp; they offer confidence, independence, belonging, and diabetes education that changes kids’ lives.

Thank you for stepping up. Let’s keep going! We still have a significant need but we believe we can do it with your help!!
